I first met the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence in San Francisco Pink Party June 1985. I was amazed how they were able to relate to celebrants and keep us safe at the safe time. I continued to interact with Sisters while living in San Francisco at annual festivals Dore Alley, Folsom Street, Castro Halloween, and at local gay businesses. I met the Capitol City Sisters in June 2016 at Sacramento Pride and felt at home from day one. My journey into sisterhood began that same month. I was guided through my Aspirant, Postulant, Novice stage and took my final vows as a full Sister July 2017. My Sister name is Holley Go-Deelightly; I love my Sacramento community and enjoy working at local events, manifesting at local clubs spreading joy and always open to give a warm hug, or willing to sit and listen to anyone that needs a friend. When Sister Holley is out with the community, I am looking to dance whether it be in the sunlight, under the magical moon, or bright lights of the local dance floor. I am blessed to have an amazing relationship with the Sacramento LGBTQ Center.
